藏南仲巴地体是雅鲁藏布江缝合带西段南北蛇绿(混杂)岩带之间重要的构造单元, 其构造变形特征对于研究雅江西段新特提斯洋构造演化过程具有重要地质意义。本研究对仲巴地体中段(马攸木段)南北向剖面进行露头尺度的构造解析、显微构造分析并结合相关年代学研究, 厘定该区域的变形期次、变形条件与演化阶段。研究结果显示, 仲巴地体中段由北至南可分为断褶带、复式褶皱带和断块带三个次级构造单元, 变形特征具有北强南弱的特点。中部复式褶皱为一大型复式背斜, 层间次级构造发育, 表明褶皱形成与南北向挤压作用下的层间滑动有关。根据石英c轴组构特征, 确定研究区主体变形温度为低温区间, 对应绿片岩相。对断褶带南侧的云母石英片岩进行绢云母Ar-Ar定年, 获得71.6±2.2 Ma的坪年龄, 代表在仲巴地体北缘的一次强烈向南逆冲事件。根据构造组合特征与构造叠加改造关系, 可将仲巴地体中段划分为复式褶皱带形成、叠加与改造等主要变形阶段, 这对于研究雅鲁藏布江缝合带西段南北亚带构造演化过程具有重要构造指示意义。
Abstract:
As a major tectonic unit, the Zhongba terrane is sandwiched between the northern and a southern ophiolitic sub-belt in the western Yarlung Zangbo suture zone (YZSZ), which are of important geological significance to our understanding of the tectonic evolution of the western YZSZ and the tectonic processes of the Neo-Tethyan Oceanic basin. Based on structural analysis on field outcrop as well as micro-structural observations along the south-north structural profile in the middle of the Zhongba terrane with related structural chronology, structural stages, deformation conditions and stages have been determined for the Zhongba terrane in this study. According to our investigations, the middle of the Zhongba terrane can be divided into three tectonic sub-unit with the increases of deformation degree from north to south as follows: the fault-fold zone, the complex fold zone and the fault block zone. The middle complex fold is a large complex anticline, within which many interlayer structures were well developed, indicating that such a fold was formed by interlayer glide during the north-south-trending regional compression. The quartz c-axis fabrics point to a low-temperature (corresponding to the greenschist facies) deformation in the study area. 40Ar/39Ar dating on sericite from mica-quartz schist collected from the southern side of fault-fold zone yields a plateau age of 71.6±2.2 Ma, which suggests that the strong southward thrusting event occurred along the northern margin of the Zhongba terrane. Based on various structural associations and multiphase structural overprinting, main deformation stages can be distinguished in the central segment of the Zhongba terrane, i.e., formation of the middle complex fold followed by tectonic overprinting and modification. Thus, structural characteristics of the Zhongba terrane formed at different tectonic stages may have tectonic significances to the tectonic evolution of the two ophiolitic sub-belt in the western Yarlung Zangbo suture zone.
